Why fibreglass
Fibreglass reinforced plastic does not rust, does not conduct, will not dent like aluminium and holds its anti slip grit far longer than paint or adhesive tape. It suits external stairs, wash down areas and coastal sites where metal nosings corrode. The colour contrast between the nosing and the tread also helps people with low vision identify the step edge.
